Ratnakar group of companies was founded by Ratna Shah in the year 2000 In Ahmedabad, India, with a vision to create imitation jewellery brand , which gives the same glory of real gold jewellery, in copper and other inexpensive metals. The founder and owner Ratna Shah is a talented and dynamic jewellery designer who has gained 10 years of rich experience in the real jewellery industry, mastering in real diamond & antique jadaw jewellery, whilst working with Ratnakar Palace, a 100 year old family firm located at Vadodara, India. In the year 2001, after doing extensive research, Ratna could foresee an exciting and bright future worldwide in immitation jewellery. Following that, in 2002, Ratnakar, a retail showroom was founded in Ahmedabad, India. With her dedication and innovative designs, Ratna transformed the retail showroom into a stylish jewellery studio! The company started as a small showroom in Ahmedabad, employing just 3 craftsmen. In 11 years of establishment, it has progressed rapidly with more than 200 craftsmen around India and strengthened by a cohesive teamwork of 20 members in their production, administration and sales department all over India. The jewellery is being sold at three stores in Ahmedabad at Paldi, Satellite, and at Maninagar. Ratnakar is present in other prestigious stores like, Kalaniketan, Bombay Swadeshi stores, Pantaloons, Bentex across various cities of India. Ratnakar manufactures a wide range of jewellery in Polki, Kundan, Victorian, American Diamond, Fashion, Tribal, etc.. in Copper, Brass and in other inexpensive metals…Beach Jewellery, Peacock Jewellery, Regional Jewellery Rose Collection, Mango Collection, are always in demand at Ratnakar. Ratnakar makes all varieties & styles of pendant sets, necklace sets, long earrings, rings, tikas, payals, armlets, pohcha, zuda, pagpaan, bridal sets, bangles, kadas and bracelets. Ratnakar designs bridal jewellery also, consisting of complete wedding day ornaments for an Asian bride, from head to toe, from bandi to payal, matching with her outfit majestically. Ratna is a personal designer to some well known Bollywood celebrities, such as Prachi Desai of "Kasam Se" "Rock On",” Once upon a time in Mumbai” fame. The Ratnakar group has expanded its operation across India, UK, USA and Middle East.
